In a blender, add fresh coconut, roasted chana dal, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, and water.

Blend until smooth.

Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.

Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add urad dal and sauté until golden brown.

Add dried red chilies and curry leaves, sauté for a few seconds.

Pour the tempering over the chutney.
