Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the vegan butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

In a small bowl, mix together the flaxseed meal and water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.

Add the flaxseed mixture and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
