Chef Joey’s Vegan Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon rolls are believed to have originated in Sweden and are often enjoyed during Fika, a Swedish coffee break.
This is vegan recipe. Dish can be prepared in 115 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 14.

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt for the dough.

Add almond milk and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape.

Spread vegan butter evenly over the dough.

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling. Sprinkle the mixture over the dough.

Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the long side.

Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal slices.

Place the slices in a greased baking dish.

Cover the dish with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and almond milk to make the icing.

Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls.
