Cheerios were introduced in 1941 and were originally called ‘CheeriOats’ due to their oat content.

This is vegan, gluten free and quick meals recipe. Dish can be prepared in 20 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 6.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine Cheerios, almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the Cheerios are coated.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Using a tablespoon, scoop the Cheerio mixture and shape it into small nuggets. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the nuggets are golden brown.
  6. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the baked Cheerio nuggets.
  8. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
