  4. In a large bowl, combine arugula, thinly sliced red onion, and walnuts.
  5. Drizzle the remaining dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  6. Divide the salad onto plates and top each serving with a caramelized pear half.
  7. Crumble goat cheese over the top.
