  3. Add chopped onion, garlic, and thyme to the pot and sauté until onions are translucent.
  4. Add dasheen leaves and okra to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in coconut milk and add Scotch bonnet pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the Scotch bonnet pepper before serving.
  8. Serve hot with rice or roti.
