California Bruschetta
Bruschetta originated in Italy and traditionally consists of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. The California version adds avocado for a creamy twist.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices.

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush them with olive oil.

Toast the bread in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the bread is toasting, peel and pit the avocados, then mash them in a bowl.

Chop the tomatoes and garlic, and add them to the mashed avocado.
