  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Place the squash halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for about 30 minutes, or until the flesh is soft.
  2. Once the squash is roasted, let it cool slightly. Scoop out the flesh and transfer it to a food processor.
  3. Add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and water to the food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  5. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
  6. Serve with pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
