  2. Add chopped broccoli and cauliflower to the pot, and stir for a few minutes.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove from heat and let the soup cool slightly.
  5. Using a blender or immersion blender, puree the soup until smooth.
  6. Return the soup to the pot and stir in coconut milk. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
