Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.

Add sliced bell peppers, cumin powder, and paprika powder. Cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in tomato puree and vegetable broth.

Drain and rinse kidney beans, then add them to the pot.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Cover the pot and simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
