Cut the tofu into slices and brush both sides with the sauce mixture.

Grill or bake the tofu for 10 minutes on each side, until it becomes slightly charred.

While the tofu is cooking, slice the green onions.

Toast the buns on the grill or in the oven for a few minutes.
