Banana Multigrain Quick Bread
Banana bread became popular in the United States during the Great Depression when resourceful homemakers started using overripe bananas instead of throwing them away.
This is vegan recipe. Dish can be prepared in 75 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 14.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.

Add the coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk to the mashed bananas. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the bread to a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
