Bring a pot of water to boil. Add salt and blanch the green beans for 2 minutes.

Drain the green beans and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp.

Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the green beans and toss to coat evenly.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the green beans are well coated and heated through.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
