Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then slice it into 1/2-inch thick slices.

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Dip each tofu slice into the marinade, making sure to coat both sides.

Place the marinated tofu slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each tofu slice.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tofu is golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
