Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them.

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the green beans are coated in the garlic oil and heated through.
