Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Peel and dice the butternut squash.

In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, olive oil, maple syrup, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.

Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and lightly browned, stirring once halfway through.
