Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Saute until onions turn golden brown.

Add spinach, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.

Let it cool and then blend it to a smooth paste.

Heat the paste again in a pan and add water. Cook for another 5 minutes.
