Potato burgers are a popular street food in India, often enjoyed with a cup of hot tea.

Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.

In a pan, heat oil and sauté chopped onion, green chili, ginger, and garlic until golden brown.

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add the mashed potatoes to the pan and mix everything together.

Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.

Once cooled, shape the mixture into patties.

Coat the patties with bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.

Toast the burger buns.

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun.

Place a potato patty on top of the lettuce.

Add tomato slices and onion rings.

Spread ketchup on the top half of each bun.

Cover the burger with the top half of the bun.
