Quinoa with Broccoli Pesto

Rinse the quinoa under cold water and cook according to package instructions.

Cut the broccoli into florets and steam until tender.

In a blender, combine the steamed broccoli, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, basil leaves, pine nuts, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

In a large bowl, mix the cooked quinoa with the broccoli pesto.

Allow the flavors to meld by letting the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
