Pad Thai is a popular street food dish in Thailand and is known for its combination of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors.

Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 15 minutes.

Drain and set aside.

In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add tofu and cook until lightly browned.

Push tofu to one side and crack eggs into the pan. Scramble the eggs and mix with tofu.

Add carrots, bell peppers, and bean sprouts. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add soaked rice noodles and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, tamarind paste, brown sugar, and chili sauce.

Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and vegetables. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and squeeze lime juice over the pad Thai.

Serve hot, garnished with crushed peanuts and cilantro.
