  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, coconut oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
