Tomato-Basil Squares
Tomatoes are technically a fruit, but they are commonly considered a vegetable in cooking.
This is vegan, gluten free and low carb recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.

Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.

Chop the fresh basil leaves.

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the olive oil mixture evenly over the puff pastry sheet.

Arrange the tomato slices on top of the olive oil mixture.

Sprinkle the chopped basil leaves over the tomatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle vegan cheese on top.
