  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until butternut squash is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
