In a saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, coconut milk, water, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped lemongrass.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan.

Let the rice simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
