Soak the kidney beans overnight.

Rinse and cook the kidney beans until tender.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, and green chili. Saute until golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add the cooked kidney beans along with salt and water. Mix well.

Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with rice or roti.
