  1. Slice the ginger and onion.
  2. Heat olive oil in a tagine over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced ginger and onion to the tagine and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne pepper, honey, and salt to the tagine and stir well.
  5. Pour the water into the tagine and cover with the lid.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and steam for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the tagine from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve the tagine-steamed ginger and onion hot.
