Press tofu to remove excess water and cut into cubes.

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with soy sauce until smooth.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and ginger, and cook until fragrant.

Add tofu cubes and stir-fry until golden brown.

Add cabbage, carrots, and red peppers, and stir-fry for a few minutes.

Pour the cornstarch-soy sauce mixture over the vegetables and tofu.

Stir-fry until the sauce thickens.

Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and black pepper.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
