In another bowl, mix together the applesauce, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Fold in the chopped apple.

Grease a small loaf pan and pour the batter into it.

Place the loaf pan in a steamer and steam for 30 minutes.
