  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and jalapeno pepper. Sauté until onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add red bell pepper and sauté for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Stir well.
  5. Add cucuzza squash and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add white vinegar and sugar. Stir well.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  9. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
