  1. In a food processor, blend the soy meat, onion, and garlic until well combined.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the blended mixture with breadcrumbs, flaxseed meal, soy sauce, liquid smoke, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns.
  8. Place lettuce, tomato, and pickles on the bottom half of each bun.
  9. Place a cooked patty on top and add ketchup and mustard.
  10. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve.
