Soak the vermicelli noodles in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Peel and shred the green papaya and carrots.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded papaya, carrots, cherry tomatoes, green beans, and vermicelli noodles.

In a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic and chilies into a paste.

Add the lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar, tamarind pulp, and salt to the mortar and mix well.

Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss until well combined.
