Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add snow peas and mushrooms, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another minute.

Remove from heat and serve hot.
