Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes.

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Saute until onions turn golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.

Add the chopped potatoes and water. Cover and cook until the potatoes are tender.

Sprinkle garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes.
