In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, water, chopped onion, green chili, cilantro, grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth batter.

Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat.

Take a spoonful of the batter and drop it gently into the hot oil, forming small fritters. Fry until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
