  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, water, chopped onion, green chili, cilantro, grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat.
  3. Take a spoonful of the batter and drop it gently into the hot oil, forming small fritters. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
