  2. Peel and finely chop the shallots.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the chopped shallots, fresh herbs, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Peel back the husks of the corn, leaving them attached at the base.
  5. Remove the silk from the corn and brush each ear with the shallot-herb mixture.
  6. Pull the husks back over the corn and tie the ends with kitchen twine.
  7. Place the corn on the grill and cook for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
  8. Remove the corn from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  9. Remove the husks and serve the grilled corn hot.
