In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, bread flour, water, and sea salt. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rest for 2 hours.

After the resting time, divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape them into burger bun shapes.

Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover with a kitchen towel, and let them rise for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Brush the buns with olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the buns cool on a wire rack.

Once cooled, slice the buns in half horizontally and use them for your favorite burger recipes.
