  2. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, and green chili. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  5. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Drain the soaked lentils and add them to the pressure cooker.
  7. Add water and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  8. Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and add spinach.
  9. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
  10. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  11. Serve hot with rice or roti.
