Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Remove the stems from the kale leaves and tear them into bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, combine the kale, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the kale is evenly coated.

Spread the kale out in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the edges of the kale are crispy.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
