  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
