  1. Wash and pat dry the okra. Cut off the ends and slice them into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions. Saute until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and green chili. Saute for a minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add the sliced okra and cook for 10-12 minutes until they are tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with roti or rice.
