Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the dried cranberries and chopped pecans.

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
