Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.

Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.

Stir in basmati rice and cook for 2 minutes.

Add vegetable broth, lavender, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
