Nutella was created during World War II when cocoa was in short supply, so hazelnuts were added to extend the chocolate supply.
This is vegan, gluten free, low carb and quick meals recipe. Dish can be prepared in 10 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 6.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until fragrant and golden brown.

Remove the hazelnuts from the oven and let them cool slightly. Rub the hazelnuts with a clean kitchen towel to remove the skins.

In a blender or food processor, add the toasted hazelnuts, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Transfer the mock Nutella spread to a jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
