Granola was originally invented as a health food in the late 19th century and was thought to have medicinal properties.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 60 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 14.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, ground cinnamon, and salt.

In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil over low heat. Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.

Pour the liquid mixture over the oat and nut mixture, and stir until everything is well coated.

Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, stir in the dried cranberries and raisins.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
