Granola was originally invented as a health food in the 19th century by Dr. James Caleb Jackson, who called it ‘granula’.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 40 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 9.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt.

In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract over low heat until melted.

Pour the maple syrup mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well to coat.

Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Once cooled, break the granola into clusters.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
