Manaaeesh Flatbread
Manaaeesh is a popular street food in Lebanon and is often enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack throughout the day.
This is vegan recipe. Dish can be prepared in 60 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 9.

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually add water and olive oil, and knead until a smooth dough forms.

Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circle.

Place the dough circles on a baking sheet and spread za'atar evenly over the surface.

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the flatbread is golden brown.

Meanwhile, chop the tomato, cucumber, and mint leaves.

Remove the flatbread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Top the flatbread with the chopped tomato, cucumber, and mint leaves.

Slice and serve.
