Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.

Add Sichuan peppercorns and dried red chili peppers. Stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for another 30 seconds.

Add green beans and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to wilt.

Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the green beans are tender.
