  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Rub the garlic cloves on one side of each bread slice.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the bread slices.
  5. Grill the bread slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until lightly toasted.
  6. Dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
  7. Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl.
  8. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes and basil.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper, and toss to combine.
  10. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the grilled bread slices.
