Lickity Split Fried Rice
Fried rice is believed to have originated in China around 4000 years ago and was initially created as a way to use up leftover rice.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 35 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 9.

Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and onion turns translucent.

Add mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the cooked rice to the other side. Break up any clumps of rice with a spatula.

Drizzle soy sauce over the rice and vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir-fry everything together for 5-6 minutes, until heated through.

Remove from heat and let the fried rice rest for 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
