  1. Rinse the lentils under cold water.

  4. Add the tomatoes, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Once the lentils are cooked, drain them and add them to the skillet with the tomato mixture. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley and lemon juice.
  7. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
